Book of the Month // April 2018

Hello! It’s great to see you again. How have you been? We’ve been reading books like they’re going out of fashion here at Shooting Star, you can read them, too.

Our first story is one of our teachers’ favorites: Dr Seuss’ Cat in the Hat.

Cat in the Hat, by Dr. Seuss.

This fantastic tale of two children bored at home highlights the issues of letting a strange cat into your house. You may find that all sorts of weird things happen if you do. If you pick up this short story, you’ll be glad you did.

A to Z Mysteries, by Ron Roy.

We usually take one or two books home with us to read, one that challenges us. That’s no different this month. We picked up A to Z Mysteries by Ron Roy. Roy’s love for alliteration in his titles follows an alphabetic theme, we’re currently on the letter ‘S’.

If you love mysteries, and love to try and guess how the story will end, this book is perfect for you.
